Chaplaincy is a place for exploring the connection between creativity and spirituality. We believe that as we allow our innate creativity to speak, the judgemental or self critical mind quietens – and we hear from within our own hearts.
Chaplaincy creative workshops run each Wednesday in term time from 1-3pm in the chaplaincy yurt and are free for all staff and students. Bring your lunch – coffee/tea and all materials will be provided.
Each week will have a different focus – embroidery, silk painting, lampshade making, make and mend, block printing and clay making.
“Doing and making are acts of hope, and as that hope grows we stop feeling overwhelmed by the troubles of the world. We remember that we – as individuals and groups – can do something about those troubles.”
